Hazelnut & Banana Panini
4 brioche buns, sliced in half, horizontally 8 tablespoons hazelnut spread 4 banana slices 4 scoops vanilla ice cream
1. Heat Gelato Panini maker Press. 2. Spread 2 tablespoons of hazelnut spread on each of the 4 brioche bun bottom halves, top each with a slice of banana and 1 scoop of vanilla ice cream. Top the buns. 3. Spray the press with cooking oil and cook for 15 seconds, until toasted. Cut the panini in half and serve.
Meatball Panini
4 brioche buns, sliced in half, horizontally 8 tablespoons tomato sauce, heated up 4 cooked meatballs, heated up 4 tablespoons Parmesan cheese 4 fresh basil leaves, shredded
1. Heat Gelato Panini Press. 2. Spread 2 tablespoons tomato sauce on each of the brioche bun bottom halves, top each slice with 1 meatball, a tablespoon of cheese and basil. Top the buns. 3. Spray the press with cooking oil and cook for 15 seconds, until toasted. Cut the panini in half and serve. * These buns can be assembled ahead of time and cooked in microwave for 1 minute, then placed in press to crisp up (your microwave could take longer).
PB&J with Bacon Ice Cream Panini
4 brioche buns, sliced in half, horizontally ¼ cup peanut or almond butter 4 scoops vanilla ice cream 4 tablespoons strawberry jam 3 tablespoons crumbled bacon Cooking spray
1. Heat Gelato Panini Press. 2. Spread each of the brioche bun bottom halves with 1 tablespoon peanut butter, add 1 scoop of ice cream and then top with a tablespoon of jam and bacon. Top the buns. 3. Spray the press with cooking oil and cook for 15 seconds, until toasted. Cut the panini in half and serve.
Smoked Salmon with Shallot & Chive Cream Cheese
4 brioche buns, sliced in half, horizontally 1 package Boursin Shallot & Chive Cream Cheese ½ pound thinly sliced smoked salmon Finely grated zest of 1 lemon 2 tablespoons capers, rinsed Salt and freshly ground pepper
1. Preheat Gelato Panini Press. 2. Spread each of the brioche bun bottom halves with Boursin and evenly top with smoked salmon, the lemon zest and capers. Season lightly with salt and pepper and then top the buns. 3. Spray press with cooking oil and cook for 30 seconds, until toasted. Cut the pa in half and serve.
